Seducing The Wolf
From puppy love to scorching seduction…As Manning Wolf knows all too well, you never forget your first crush. Years ago he lost his heart to sweet, brainy Taylor Chastain. When a devastating tragedy forced them apart, Manning went on to become the powerful CEO of a biotechnology company. He’s got the world at his feet and can have any woman he wants…except the one he loved and lost.
When a chance encounter brings him face to face with Taylor, Manning swears that fate has smiled upon him. His shy childhood sweetheart is now a captivatingly beautiful woman who takes his breath away. He wants her back in his life—and in his bed—but ghosts from the past still linger, and it doesn’t help that Taylor has a boyfriend. Manning must convince her that they belong together, or risk losing her forever. But as their rekindled attraction ignites into a scorching affair, he can only wonder…who’s seducing whom?
Manning Wolf must splash sexiness all over his body on a daily basis. LOL. Chapter One, first page, the man owns his Alpha-ness and then some. And once he’s got you hooked and by the time he stuffed that tie in his shirt pocket, then the second chance at love is on.
Smith has nailed writing characters that are so fully developed that you can feel them lift off from the pages and breathe, as if real. Man, woman, adult or child, this boisterous loving family awaits your attention.
Now, on the heroine’s side, I felt for Taylor. Having to decide between first love or what’s-his-name of the past three years … who to pick — as if, there was a question. But that’s where the ride takes off.
Smith ramps up the sexual tension, teasing with great OMG moments and tightening up when stakes are high and make you feel as if you’re about to fall over the edge. Warning: Take bathroom breaks, go grocery shopping, and tie up all errands before you begin. Because once you’ve dived in with both feet, falling in love with this couple and watching them on their journey back to each other is riveting, endearing, and addictive. Will definitely re-read.
